American Freight, a national retailer of quality furniture, mattresses, and appliances, has announced plans to expand its headquarters in Delaware, Ohio. Currently employing 69 full-time staff in the Columbus Region, this expansion will increase American Freight’s local workforce by over 50% and help meet the needs of the growing company following the combination of Sears Outlet with American Freight in February 2020.

The JobsOhio Inclusion Grant supported the growth of 16 companies in Southwest Ohio, which created 90 jobs and retained 317 existing jobs. The grant provides financial support for projects in designated distressed communities and/or for businesses owned by underrepresented populations across the state.
