The L.E. Smith Company is a manufacturer and distributor of countertops and surfaces in Bryan, Ohio. They work with a variety of materials in construction, renovation and design for bathroom and kitchen surfaces. Their primary regions are Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, and Illinois.

Providing high-quality countertops and surfaces since 1950, The L.E. Smith Company has been hard at work innovating and updating their product offerings and services over the decades. They have a commitment to continually improve their capabilities, most recently increasing their productivity by investing in new equipment. 

In 2020, L.E. Smith received a national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the Women’s Business Enterprise Council Ohio River Valley. As a proud Women-Owned Business, L.E. Smith has been committed for decades to providing to the supply chain and providing clients with high-quality products. They saw the chance for increased productivity and decided to invest $100,000 in new equipment including automatic sanders, saws, and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines.

With the help of a $50,000 inclusion grant from JobsOhio, L.E. Smith was able to purchase the new equipment and invest in eight new jobs while retaining 65 jobs. Now, L.E. Smith looks to continue their commitment to quality for commercial and residential clients with industry-leading turn times as they cover everything from installation to project management.
