JobsOhio offers several key programs striving to attract capital, create jobs and grow talent for all Ohioans.
Vibrant Communities Program
For communities to thrive, they must implement economic development projects that attract private investment and create jobs. The Vibrant Communities Program assists distressed small and mid-size cities with projects that fulfill a market need and represent a reinvestment in eligible cities.
Pre Project Planning Program
Eligible communities often do not have adequate resources to attract private investment. The Inclusive Project Planning Program offers targeted technical assistance to address gaps in capacity and expertise to ultimately generate more actionable projects across the state.
Broadband Access
Reliable, high-speed internet access is essential for ensuring all Ohioans can connect digitally to fully participate in the growth of the information economy. Expanding broadband access to all Ohioans could create up to 25,000 jobs and increase the state’s GDP by $1-$3 billion.
