Headquartered in Germany, Adler Pelzer Group (APG) is a world leading automotive supplier. AGP has built a network of manufacturing plants and research and design facilities close to main automotive hubs in major geographic regions, and was looking to establish another hub to reach customers in the north and south of the U.S. 

We selected this location because the region offered a site that was ready for our company to start up immediately, and we definitely saw a favorable business environment. In our business, geographical proximity to OEMs is significantly important because we produce large components, meaning the cost of logistics is critical.

Why Ohio?

APG will invest in Ohio and take over a 100,000-square-foot facility in Oregon. The operational readiness of the site and a business climate played a large role, and the state’s logistics capabilities and proximity to OEMs were critical factors in the decision.

Ohio has one of the leading automotive sectors in the U.S. The state is also situated in a central location amid other automotive hubs and has one of the nation’s best logistics infrastructures, making Ohio an ideal location for companies with needs like APG.
