Attracting new companies to Ohio requires long-term relationships and focus, which aligns well with the JobsOhio and Regional Partner model. Sites and Infrastructure Team
The Sites and Infrastructure Team makes sure Ohio remains competitive for new business investment by strengthening the portfolio of real estate sites across the state, helping to build more vibrant communities, and supporting the growth of air service at Ohio’s airports. The team oversees the economic development inclusion strategy, which provides resources to underrepresented geographies and populations around the state. It works with the JobsOhio Network partners on business retention and expansion opportunities.
The Talent Team carries out JobsOhio’s talent strategy through proactive talent attraction, talent growth and retention, company talent support, and upskilling/reskilling initiatives. The team provides customized sourcing, screening, and training solutions for companies looking for workers.
Project Performance Team
The Project Performance Team manages our portfolio upon the execution of a project agreement to ensure companies are achieving compliance and project goals and works with companies on disbursement requests. The team tracks metrics and reports out to the general public.
Government Affairs and External Engagement Team
The Government Affairs Team serves as a resource to local, state, and federal elected officials and economic development partners. The team regularly collaborates with these leaders and works with stakeholders to promote economic development in communities across the state.
Strategic Communications Team
The Strategic Communications team supports Marketing Communications, Management Communications, and Internal Communications and is the first point of contact for media relations throughout Ohio and the world. The team connects stakeholders and media with accurate information about JobsOhio’s economic development work and collaborating with client companies to help announce their projects.
