Anduril In Ohio

Rebuilding the Arsenal
in the Heart of it All

Business moves quickly in Ohio. Really quickly. In 2025, Anduril Industries — an industry-leading defense manufacturer — announced a partnership with Ohio to strengthen national security and restore the global balance of power.

Typically, new aircraft factories take three to five years to go from announcement to first delivery. Ohio just cut that in half. Just 557 days after the project was announced, the first Ohio-built Fury rolled off the production line at Arsenal-1. It's proof that when innovative companies choose Ohio, they find a state built to move with speed, scale, and execution.

Speed like this doesn't happen by accident. It happens when a company ready to move fast meets a state built to keep up: construction-ready sites, efficient permitting, and a supply chain of 640+ aerospace firms ready on day one. That's Anduril's pace — and it's the pace Ohio was built to match.

As someone who is from California, there are some states that are really good at pushing you out and slowing you down, and there’s others that are great at pulling you in and speeding you up. That’s what Ohio was.

Anduril’s New Drone Manufacturing Facility

The project will create 4,008 new jobs by 2035. That’s the largest single job-creation project in Ohio’s history, which has a long and storied legacy of manufacturing success.

The 5-million-square-foot drone manufacturing facility will be located on 500 acres of land in Pickaway County near Rickenbacker International Airport in Central Ohio and includes room for future growth.

While the impact will be felt statewide, the unique qualities and ability to support the project in Central Ohio, and more specifically Pickaway County, create the ideal environment for success.
