J Money, LLC Celebrates Grand Opening of Investment in Downtown Jeffersonville
Jeffersonville— J Money, LLC has completed a full renovation of four downtown buildings in Jeffersonville, totaling approximately 7,736 square feet. A leading component of the Renaissance Jeffersonville plan, this first project by J Money, LLC has helped revitalize the downtown Jeffersonville community.
Located on Main Street in the center of downtown Jeffersonville, the four properties at 3,5,7, and 9 S. Main Street represent nearly 10,000 square feet of space. The Anchor Tenant, J Money, LLC, will occupy at least 3,726 square feet. The EV battery plant, JoongWon Atlanta, LLC, will also occupy one of the properties and will support the LH Battery Plant located in Jeffersonville.
“We have sparked a renaissance in downtown Jeffersonville by tackling a foundational project significant enough to create a tipping point,” said Owner of J Money, LLC, Joel M. Oney. “This investment has spurred a revival of this small town.”
This project was made possible by the collaborative efforts of J. Money, LLC, JobsOhio, the Dayton Development Coalition, and the Village of Jeffersonville. JobsOhio supported the projects with a $300,000 JobsOhio Vibrant Communities Grant.
“As a proud partner in this revitalization project, the Dayton Development Coalition is thrilled to see Downtown Jeffersonville transformed into a vibrant hub once again,” said Dayton Development Coalition Executive Vice President of Regional Development Julie Sullivan. “We look forward to seeing the continued investment in Downtown Jeffersonville for years to come.”
The JobsOhio Vibrant Community Program was established to assist small and medium-sized communities implementing catalytic development projects that fulfill a market need and represent a significant reinvestment in Ohio communities. Eligible projects include mixed-use projects, real estate development projects, and shared spaces that meet the JobsOhio project criteria.
“Along with the Dayton Development Coalition, the Village of Jeffersonville and J Money, we welcome the revitalization of four buildings in the center of downtown,” said JobsOhio President and CEO J.P. Nauseef. “Through strong collaboration as well as assistance from JobsOhio’s Vibrant Communities Program, new offices have been established to support EV companies’ growth in Fayette County while additional mixed-use space is now available to attract more businesses and activity along Main Street.”
J. Money, LLC celebrated the project with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 31 attended by local government officials and community partners. Mayor Pro Tempore Roger Spahr, Representative Bob Peterson, County Commissioner Tony Anderson, and Senior Managing Director of JobsOhio Kristi Tanner participated in the program. The event showcased the renovation of the new buildings.
