TTM Technologies was looking to invest in one of its U.S. facilities for realignment, modernization, and growth opportunities for its customer base. The demand for growth supports National Security objectives by adding employees and capital investment.
"TTM Technologies is pleased to bring this expansion of capability and opportunity for workforce growth to North Jackson, Ohio. The engagement by Team NEO, the Ohio Department of Development, and JobsOhio to understand our extensive workforce training requirements was invaluable in our decision to grow this facility. This successful process has allowed all involved to develop a better understanding of the importance and criticality of U.S.-made printed circuit boards.”
– Phil Titterton, COO of TTM Technologies
Why Ohio?
Ohio’s role as a leader in advanced manufacturing is more vital than ever as companies embrace new ways of making things with additive manufacturing, automation, advanced materials, and other new technologies. Ohio’s manufacturing sector employs over 600,000 skilled individuals, the third-largest manufacturing workforce in the U.S.
In addition, Tech is one of Ohio’s fastest-growing industries, with expertise in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, IoT, Semiconductors, analytics, and more. TTM said the local workforce and partnerships with economic development entities and the community were important factors in choosing North Jackson for the expansion.
