In October, Northwest Bank announced its plans to expand its presence in the Midwest through a definitive merger agreement to acquire MutualFirst Financial.

Northwest Bank will expand its current office in Columbus which employs 24 full-time workers, as well as open a new additional office to support the company’s growth, increased mortgage loan production and dealer sales footprint. The availability of skilled talent was a key driver behind the company’s success and its decision to continue expanding in Ohio.
