REM Electronics Supply Company started as a consumer electronics business in 1955, selling TV antennas and hi-fi equipment from a small storefront. The company has changed its business model many times through the years, and now provides electronic components and contract manufacturing solutions.
In recent years, REM Electronics moved away from the repair and distribution side to seek government contract work. The company remodeled part of its 75,000-square-foot facility to bring in additional equipment, invest in advanced machinery, and expand its capabilities to meet increasing customer demand.
Grant Funding
Approved for a $50,000 JobsOhio Small Business Grant, REM Electronics used the funds to purchase state-of-the-art equipment—improving efficiency and positioning the company for continued growth in an increasingly competitive market. The project also created three jobs and retained 27.
This investment allows us to enhance our production capabilities and better serve our customers, many of whom depend on precision and reliability. In our industry, technology moves fast. This funding helps us stay ahead of the curve, remain competitive, and provide new job opportunities in Warren.
